On Wednesday 3nd September the Royal County hosted Oxfordshire at Burghfield Bowls Club.
The weather just about held for the duration of the game, played on a green that bowled better than it looked. Clearly a lot of work had gone into the green for the game by the team.
The Royal County won on 4 rinks with two rinks loosing by just 3 shots!

The Hospitality from the Burghfield Club was second to none, with £1 rolls awaiting the players on arrival and a great price for the after match meal.
