On Saturday 2nd May the Royal County travelled to Andover Bowls Club to play Bowls Hampshire.
The green was in very good condition and the match started in dry and warm conditions. However, the weather turned about half way through resulting in the Presidents agreeing to shorten the match to 14 ends!
Afterwards the players and 4 visitors were served Beef, spuds and peas followed by treacle tart.
The game was competitive considering the weather with Berkshire winning on 5 rinks for an overall victory.
