Please note that due to the ongoing problems with the drainage systems in the Park around Abingdon BC the Men’s Second Finals Day on Sunday 6th September has had to be moved. We are grateful to Wantage BC who have stepped in at this short notice and will now be hosting this event.

On Wednesday 8th July the Royal County travelled to Keynsham to play Somerset. Another blue sky day for Bowls and the lovely air conditioned club house was a welcome retreat from the heat. Another very warm day with some great bowls played resulting in a victory for the Royal County.  Free tea before the game added to the excellent hospitality. A squad of 8 travelled into Hampshire to attempt to achieve back- to-back qualifications in the White Rose. Despite strong opposition, especially from both home county teams, the lads managed to win 5 out of 5 and book a place in the Quarter Final on August 16th in Leamington.
